Paintings and works on paper of atmospheric landscapes, nature and the human form.
Exhibiting in 2021
Kate's paintings and drawings explore the natural environment and the human form, and are often elemental, instinctive and textural. She works from life and en plein air, and references sketches, studies, notes and collected objects when back in the studio. Inspired by movement, emotion, shifting light and changing weather conditions, her work reflects the character and uniqueness of people and place.
This year, Kate will be welcoming visitors to her studio in Holtby.
