Personal landscapes 'drawn' using freehand machine stitching. Layers of found fabrics and stitch are built, then cut away. The images explore individual experiences and histories and a sense of place.

Originating in Worcestershire, moved to Yorkshire to teach Art and Design, then Textiles and a few other things, until succumbing to the allure of a Historical Costume making course. Currently working as a textile artist and tutor, producing work for exhibition in galleries, or private commissions, as well as hosting workshops based on freehand machine work for The Viking Loom and privately.
