Artist bio

Judy Burnett studied Illustration at Hull and Middlesex Colleges of Art. Her career has been in Further Education in Art and Design, also working as an illustrator and exhibiting artist.

She was the Course Leader of the Foundation Course at York College and continues to run illustration workshops in colleges, schools and galleries.

She exhibits her paintings, prints and collages in London and Northern galleries and frequently works to commission.

Solo exhibitions: Walter C Young Center, Florida; Oriental Museum, Durham. London: Turkish Embassy; Amnesty International; Edith Road Gallery.

2015 exhibitions: Pyramid Gallery, Bar Lane Gallery York, Look Gallery Helmsley, Gallery 49 Bridlington. 

Judy Burnett has exhibited in previous York Open Studios 2009, 2011, 2012, 2013, 2014, 2016.
