Taster Exhibition at the Theatre Royal, York

To whet your appetite for York Open Studios 2008 you are invited to an exhibition of participating artists’ work at the Theatre Royal, York.
The exhibition will be open daily from March 4th to mid April from 10am.
Entry is free and all work will be for sale.

York Open Studios Workshops at York Art Gallery in March 2008

This year York Open Studios are offering you an exciting opportunity to try out a range of art processes and techniques for yourselves.

Generously hosted by York Art Gallery and funded by City of York Council through Arts Action York, we are running five two-hour workshops each led by one of our 2008 artists. It is not necessary to have any art training or prior knowledge, our artists will be there to guide you.

Sunday 9th March 10.30am – 12.30pm Milena Dragic, Printmaker
Sunday 9th March 2pm - 4pm Jacqueline James, Textile Artist
Saturday 15th March 10.30am - 12.30pm Liz Redfern, Jeweller
Saturday 15th March 2pm - 4pm Eddie Saul, Painter
Sunday 16th March 2pm - 4pm Mark Hearld, Collage

The workshops are open to adults (minimum age 16) and must be booked in advance. All materials and tuition are provided free of charge although there is a booking fee of £5 per person.
